"Tin? What tin? There's tin in the input? I just put all these fancy track loops around this single atom *iron* input! Armor should be made of *iron!* Imagine, tin armor, pfffft!"

Okay, so, this was meant to be a meme submission. I made a Cycles solution that actually used the ratio of purifying exactly one silver (8 tin) and using the leftover quicksilver (8) plus the other five metal atoms in the output (6 quicksilver? I had the math for this worked out) to project up to the final product. Due to this being my first time ever submitting to a weekly, I ended up having some technical difficulties submitting and ultimately lost the entire submission.

I had still *planned* to make the meme solve though, which throws all that fancy projectification math out the window, and just eats the quicksilver as soon as it can. It ended up being just a *little bit faster* than my initial solve. So here it is scoring instead of being in the showcase~

I expect much higher placing submissions will actually address the question the puzzle is asking, but it's interesting just how far simplicity can get you! (I say that not knowing my actual placement, would be kind of awkward to be at the bottom of the list, smiley face with sweat drop emoji)

Either way, happy to have been able to get something in! As I'm typing this, 7 hours remain, so I'm cutting it a bit close~ Good luck to those placing above!
